I'm Essex born and bred, but home is most definitely up north here in West Yorkshire. I moved north in the summer of 2003, and I live in a 1 bed stone cottage, built 1722. It's gorgeous! I have a fiancé who lives nearby, and we've been together for over 5 years now. I keep trying to convince him to finally get me down the aisle, but it hasn't worked so far! I love computers, music (I can play the clarinet and violin), F1 Grand Prix racing, athletics, tennis, football (I support Liverpool FC), cross-stitching and water-colouring.

Since summer 2005 I've been studying with the Open University, part-time, working towards a degree in Humanities, specialising in German and Music. I have so far studied 2 courses. The first was a short course called Living Arts which lasted for 20 weeks. I took this to see if I could cope with studying again. When I coped with that just fine, I registered for An Introduction to the Humanities, a longer course worth more points towards my degree. I'm pleased to say I passed both, and as a consequence of passing the latter course I now am the proud owner of a new qualification - Certificate in Humanities. It is a real achievement and has given me a real boost for my future studies.
